A longer life & better quality of life
Through mindfulness you become a better person – And by improving yourself, you simply attain a longer and more sustainable life.
Good relationships don’t just protect our bodies; they protect our brains. This reality was examined at Harvard University during a study on longevity.
The study showed that the role of genetics and long-lived ancestors proved less important to longevity than the level of satisfaction in relationships. Today such satisfaction is awknoledged as a good predictor of healthy aging.
Healthy relationships are not necessarily smooth at all tomes. Some elderly couples could experience daily tensions. Nonetheless, as long as the partners felt they could rely on each other during challenging times, the given tensions did not have a lasting impact on their good relationship.
